LOOK! A PONY PLUSHIE AND A CAT! READ THIS!

No, but seriously, hello Tumblaaar. 

After I got back from Everfree I was having really bad moments of dizziness and had to go to the doctor. Turns out I had some virus in my ear tubes or whatever that pretty much means my ears are being stupid and can’t talk to my brain right and equilibrium or what not. Doctor said there’s no cure and it just goes away “eventually". I wish I have done more updates lately but it’s been hard to draw anything when it feels like the room spins every time I move my head.

I’ve been feeling better, lately, but I’ve been seriously questioning what I should be doing on this site. I don’t think people want AskChangelingDash to go in the direction I want it to go and I’ve been having a hard time drawing there because of it. If you think I should stick with her, let me know, otherwise, I have considered making Vivo, my OC, his own blog, but I have no idea if it’ll take at all. 

I’m here to ask what you guys honestly think. Please don’t think the answer is “Just do what you want to do” because if I knew that, I wouldn’t be asking. I honestly am sitting at a huge fork in the road and have no directive and am begging for some help, here. Any opinion is a good opinion. I just want to hear what you guys have to say. I’d ask ON my ChangelingDash blog but you people here seem to care more about me than the people who just follow my ask blog. Anyway, here’s a few of my OCs, for those of you who don’t know them.

-Vivo Fortissimo - Flirty, Bisexual, Foreign, Coward of a pink pony who’s looking for their big break in theater. Would have a more story driven blog of his new experiences in Equestria as a foreigner. Would flirt interact with other OCs and Blogs frequently.

-Paradox Spark - Young student who’s special talent is anti-magic. Due to the contradiction in his nature, his magic makes himself sick to use and therefor avoids it. Also known as “Perses.” Would be set up more like a video blog done by Perses as he struggles to get through school with social pressures.

-Apollo Star - Doctor pony who studied medicine in the royal guard. Early/Mid 30s, more mature and collected. Would have a very interactive “Ask Doctor Star” blog with medical/Pony/weird questions and what not. Think Dr.Phil, Dr.Drew, that sorta thing.

I have more OCs but those are the three I could see myself making for at the moment. I haven’t mentioned the couple of mares I have. Is that important to you? Are mare blog OCs more appealing than stallion blogs? Does it matter? Let me know if you have an opinion on that! Every opinion helps!

I also don’t mind doing canon characters. As far as I know from the last time I asked, people are interested in OCs, but here are a couple of canon characters I’ve thought about doing a blog for. If these are interesting, let me know.

-Sunset Shimmer Blog

-Trixie Blog (But in all fairness who can beat inconvenient Trixie? Jesus Christ that Tumblr’s amazing…)

-Thunderlane Blog

-Revive “Ask-HipsterDerpy” My old random ass tumblr. http://ask-hipsterderpy.tumblr.com/

Those are just a few ideas I’ve had. Any other ideas are open as well. If you have a canon character you wish had a blog that you don’t see enough of, let me know!

One last question. One reason I don’t do a lot of updates, or at least as much as I’d like, is it takes me a lot of time to do just one panel. Sometimes 6-8 hours on just a single thing. All of these updates are me working at 100%. Should I cut back a bit on quality to put out more posts? Would you be opposed to seeing a rougher style, but more frequent updates, or do you think the quality of my art is the only thing keeping followers around? I honestly don’t know if artists of other ask blogs put 100% in each of their panels because, for lack of a better way to put it, I don’t really get to talk to other tumblr artists. I’ve met some at cons but most have brushed me off as a nobody and the PMs I’ve sent artists over tumblr when I ask for honest advice or help is always ignored. So I turn to you, my followers, and first, thank you for reading all this. Second, I really am looking forward to hearing any of your responses. Every opinion counts. Every thought matters.
